Minnesota Visit

 We got to spend a couple of days visiting my aunt and uncle at their lake house in Minnesota.  Thanks so much for having us Vicky and Al!

Jonathan's Ordination

Jonathan's ordination was on July 7.  Since we are moving to Australia, he was ordained at the church where my parents are members.  Here we are.  Sadly, this was the best picture we got of the family....

Last Field Trip

Islwyn's class went on the last field trip of the year.  I got to go along.  We walked over to the Botanical Gardens to see the butterfly exhibit.  Islwyn loved trying to get butterflies on his finger.  You have grown up so much this year Islwyn.  1st grade is just around the corner!

Graduation

Jonathan's graduation was Friday.

Australia

Jonathan got his call at the call service on April 30.  Victoria/Tasmania District, Lutheran Church of Australia.

 At the Fort Wayne Zoo an entire section of the zoo is called "The Australian Adventure."  Here are Amund and Elijah.  We found where we will be living on the map.  Kind of to the left of where Amund is standing.  The climate is classified as semi-arid.  Average highs range from 56-87 (depending on winter or summer) and average lows range from 37-54.

We still have a lot to do.  And we still don't know when we will be moving.  We have to wait on our visa and then get everything packed up and shipped over.  I'll try and be better about updating what is going on with us.

Elijah

Elijah is our little troublemaker!  He goes straight to the most dangerous spot in the house or outside as quickly as possible.  He loves getting into the bathroom and playing in the toilet....so we have to keep the door closed at all times.  He also goes straight for the steps so we have keep the gate up at all times.  His other favorite thing to do is play with dada's stereo by pulling all the knobs off.  When we go outside he crawls as fast as he can down the sidewalk.  He is also just figuring out how to walk.  Once he is steady on his feet we're going to be in for even more trouble I think.

Amund

 My little Amundito.  He is our happy snuggly boy.  He loves being outside and eating fruit.  Especially juicy fruit like this "juicy apple."

 I call him my little snuggle factory because he loves to sit with us and give us lots of hugs and snuggles.

 We're so happy that you're our little BIG boy.
