American Folk Festival

I was SO lame and didn't take pictures of us at the folk festival.  But we still had lots of fun.  We headed downtown for dinner on Friday and stayed to listen to some music.  We sat by the river for dinner and then walked over to listen to a band from Quebec--they performed all in French--it was awesome.  We also enjoyed super yummy ice cream while listening to the music.  Islwyn loved it.  We went back Saturday after nap and got to spend the afternoon and evening with one of Islwyn's best friends--Phinneas.  We also ran into two other families we knew and all hung out together for quite a while.  It was so much FUN.  Islwyn was exhausted yesterday though--two super late nights in a row were too much for him.  He napped from 12:30 until 4:30!!!  I had to wake him up.

Fun Sunday

We drove out to Bar Harbor yesterday because it was such a beautiful day. Here are Islwyn and Jonathan on the beach. If you look closely you can see Islwyn's rock he just threw in flight.

Islwyn LOVES throwing rocks into the water.
Islwyn getting his feet wet.

Islwyn and Papa.
We also stopped at this huge antique tool store on Mt. Desert Island. While Jonathan looked at tools, Islwyn and I played at the playground area. The ground was covered in apples so Islwyn had to pick some up.

More apples.
In the tool store. Hammers everywhere.

Islwyn liked using the socket wrench.
