Apple Picking

We went apple picking--my sister and her four boys were here last weekend. It was so much fun! Here is my sister with her gang.

Making Cider

One of the highlights of the fall this year has been that we were able to press some cider. It was so much fun! Our friends have all kinds of apple trees in their back yard. They borrowed a cider press, and pressed a whole bunch of the apples into cider. We got to help press...and got to take some home with us!

Fun Sunday

We drove out to Bar Harbor yesterday because it was such a beautiful day. Here are Islwyn and Jonathan on the beach. If you look closely you can see Islwyn's rock he just threw in flight.

We also stopped at this huge antique tool store on Mt. Desert Island. While Jonathan looked at tools, Islwyn and I played at the playground area. The ground was covered in apples so Islwyn had to pick some up.
